Modelling, so fun

So i started this model few days ago and got stuck attempting to make eyes round, figured how Looptool works:

Finding finger placements when you don’t model fingers feels silly but that’s how we roll today.

good enough:

i lost a bone connection:

RIGIFY ERROR: Bone ’palm.01.L’: The palm rig must have a parent and at least one sibling
Incorrect armature for type ’super_palm’

Learned how to keep these fuckers connected!

Our shorthand edward has some issues but we live with it:

”RIGIFY ERROR: Bone ’spine.004’: Cannot connect chain – bone position is disjoint.
Incorrect armature for type ’chain_rigs’”

Goddamnit

We are not going to deal with this today. No skull for our model:

And we have liftoff! model is rigged.

Some finishing touches to model and end result for today:

It MOVES!

  1. Working on models can be both challenging and rewarding, especially when you finally get the rigging to work. It’s impressive how you figured out the Looptool despite the initial struggle with the eyes. Losing a bone connection can be frustrating, but it’s part of the learning process. The excitement of seeing the model move after all the effort is truly satisfying. How do you plan to tackle the remaining issues with the shorthand Edward? WordAiApi

    1. i reworked with model to fit those finger better, especially now that i have also digging animation.
I need to rework model again because my standards are raising but before that i want to refactor world generation 🙂
